ALTON COLIE JR.
LAGRANGE -- Alton Colie Jr., 53, of 163 Malcolm Glenn Lane, died Monday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Don Sauls officiating. Burial will be in Snow Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Colie was a native of Wayne County and was the son of the late Rev. Alton Colie Sr. and Annie Corbett Colie.
He is survived by one son, Shayne Colie, and his and wife, Geneva, of Snow Hill; one daughter, Suzanne C. Combs, and her husband, Scott, of Snow Hill; one brother, Wendall Colie of Clinton; two sisters, Martha Ann Moore and her husband, Doug, of Snow Hill and Betty Glenn Walker of Snow Hill; his special friend, April Colie; his grandchildren, Britney Colie, Kristen Colie and Colby Colie; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 5970 Fairview Road, 3 Fairview Plaza S-408, Charlotte, N.C., 28212.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1 until 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at 173 Oakdale Drive, LaGrange.
