KENNETH RADFORD
GREENVILLE -- Kenneth Orville Radford, 94, died Sunday.
The funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the First Pentecostal Holiness Church. Burial will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park.
Mr. Radford was a native of Buncombe, had been a resident of Pitt County for 51 years, was the operator of Greenhill Dairy Farm and was a member of the Dairy Herd Improvement Association. He was also a member of and former deacon at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Greenville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Liles Radford, and is survived by two sons and their wives, John C. and Judy Radford and James K. and Vickie H. Radford of Greenville; two daughters, F. Carol Radford of Wilmington, and Kay R. Denning and her husband, Wayne, of Clayton; three grandchildren, Meredith K. Radford, Rebecca K. Mayo and her husband, Michael, of Greenville and Stephen W. Denning of Cary; and one great-grandson, Zane Mayo of Greenville
The family will receive friends today from 6 until 8 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Falcon Children's Home, c/o First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 204 Brinkley Road, Greenville, N.C., 27858.
