CLYDIE ROBBINS
Clydie Benton Robbins, 80, of 205 Holly Road, died Sunday at the home of her daughter.
The funeral will be conducted Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Rouse Funeral Home in LaGrange with the Rev. Ray Smeltzer and the Rev. Bill Bradley officiating. Interment will be on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery, LaGrange.
Mrs. Robbins was the daughter of the late Joseph and Blondell Garris Benton and the widow of Harvey Gray Robbins. She was a member of Adamsville Baptist Church and was retired from Sylvania.
Her survivors include one daughter, Lois Foy and husband Alden of Goldsboro; one son, Bobby Benton of Ayden; one sister, Estelle Peede and husband Lawrence of Fort Barnwell; two brothers, Murray Benton of Fort Barnwell and Harold Lane and wife Sue of Kinston; five grandsons, Bobby G. Benton, Michael D. Benton, Jeffrey Foy, Scott Foy and Alden Foy Jr.; nine great-grandchildren, Ashley Benton, Tabitha Benton, Tiffany Paxson, Kamryn Foy, Kyndall Foy, Brandon Foy, Matthew Foy, Leslie Foy and Daniel Foy; two great-great-grandchildren; and an uncle, Melvin Garris and wife Gladys of LaGrange.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday following the service, and at other times they will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alden Foy, 205 Longview Drive, Goldsboro.
