ANNIE B. VAUGHN
SNOW HILL -- Annie "Ann" Bryant Vaughn died Thursday at Britthaven of Smithfield following several years of declining health.
Mrs. Vaughn retired as a teacher with the Wayne County Public Schools and was a member of Fort Run Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, where she served as chairman of the missions program until her health began to decline.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Snow Hill Cemetery with the Reverend Larry Turlington officiating.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Berry Vaughn, on Nov. 3, 1998.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Saturday morning from 10 until 10:30 at Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service, 117 NW Third Street, Snow Hill.
