JOYCE M. ANDERSON
Joyce Martin Anderson, 71, of 902 S. Madison Ave., died Tuesday night at her home.
The funeral will be held by the graveside on Friday at 11 a.m. at Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive. The Rev. Steve Holder will conduct the service.
Mrs. Anderson retired as a shipping clerk with Barry's of Goldsboro.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Anderson of the home; one daughter, Laura McGowan of Goldsboro; two sons, Andrew Ray McGowan of Goldsboro and Martin McGowan of Wilmington; and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Essie Jones Martin; two sisters, Betty Cashwell and Faye Thompson; and two brothers, E.J. Martin and James A. Lambert.
The family will receive friends at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive on Thursday night from 7 until 8:30, and other times at the home.
