LOUVENIA GRAHAM
LA GRANGE -- Louvenia Graham, 85, of 102 Best St., died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
She was a member of St. Luke FWB Church, where she served as president of the Usher Board, Mother Board, Sunday School, Floral Club, Womens Department, King and Hadden Street Circle.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Monday at St. Luke Free Will Baptist Church in La Grange. Dr. Stanley A. Williams Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Matthew Church Cemetery, La Grange.
She is survived by three daughters, Margaret and husband, Norman Miles, Vivian Cummings, Frances Duvall and husband, Charles Ricks, all of La Grange; two sons, Ernest Rogers Phillips and Julian Wife "Speck" Fields of Kinston; four brothers, Richard "Ann" Lewis, John "Helene" Lewis, Joe E. "Johnnie" Lewis, and Ben E. "Christine" Lewis, all of Goldsboro; two sisters, Gertrude Daye and Afrie and husband, "James" Cox, all of Goldsboro; nine grandchildren, Norma, Clarence, Vincent, Donald, Cynthia, Ricky, Dennis, Shirley, and Minnie; 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Gertrude Hudson, Christine Lewis, Lucille Joyner, and Evelyn Hill; a special cousin, Laura Williams; life long friends, Marion S. Jenkins, Lillian Bright, and the St. Luke Church Family.
The family will meet friends this evening from 7 until 8 at St. Luke Church in La Grange.
Arrangements handled by Mitchell's Funeral Home in Greenville.
