LAVERN HOLT
PRINCETON -- Frances "Lavern" Evans Holt, of 3117 Massey-Holt Road, died Thursday at her home.
Mrs. Holt was born in Wayne County and was the daughter of the late Oscar and Daisy Beard Evans. She was retired from O'Berry Center and was a member of Oakland Friends Church.
She is survived by her husband, James C. Holt Sr..; one daughter, Shelia Campbell, and her husband, Richard, of Farmville; one son, James C. Holt, Jr. of Princeton; and six grandchildren, Mary Beth Campbell, Sarah Campbell, Nicki Holt, Cashus Holt, Jenny Lynn Holt and Joshua Miller.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Princeton Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 5970 Fairview Road, 3 Fairview Plaza S-408, Charlotte, N.C., 28210; or to the Arthritis Foundation, Woodlawn Green Office Park, Building 7, Suite 217, Charlotte, N.C., 28217.
The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 9:30 until 10:30 at Seymour Funeral Home in Goldsboro, and other times at the residence.
