JAMES BARNES
James Barnes, 74, of Teachey, died Sunday at Duplin General Hospital in Kenansville.
The funeral will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Rose Hill Funeral Home Cemetery in Magnolia.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Barnes of Teachey; son, James Barnes Jr. of Brooklyn, N.Y.; daughters, Velda Coada, Harrietta Barnes and Lisa Barnes of Brooklyn, N.Y., Jamie Barnes of Talahassee, Fla., Arletha Newkirk and Delinda Barnes Rogers of Wallace, and Curley Faye Armstead of Staten Island, N.Y.; one brother, Paul Barnes of Fremont; three sisters, Frances Barnes of Brooklyn, N.Y., Wilma Reed of Spring Valley, N.Y., and Helen Barnes of Dudley; and 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 8 at Rose Hill Funeral Home.
