VIRGINIA LEE BARDEN
Virginia Lee Barden, 65, of 417 S. Herman St., died Tuesday at her home.
She was born in Wayne County Feb. 24, 1940, to the late James Wooten and the late Mary Lena Cox. She was the widow of the late James L. Barden.
A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Luke Church of Christ, 430 E. Elm St. The Rev. David Williams will officiate. Burial will follow in the St. John Church Cemetery on Pecan Road, in Dudley.
She is survived by four sons, Jerry Fuller of Norfolk, Va., Eddie Fuller of Riverside, Calif., Bruce Fuller of Goldsboro, and Eric Barden of Columbia, Md.; two daughters, Shiela West of Randallstown, Md., and Nikki Barden of the home; one brother, Willie Wooten of Goldsboro; one sister, Essie Wooten Barden; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four aunts.
A viewing will be held Monday from 3 until 9 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel. Family will greet friends from 7 until 8 p.m.
