GENEVA F. TATE
WARSAW -- Geneva Frederick Tate, 45, of Detroit, Mich., formerly of Duplin County, died on Feb. 25 at her home.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Smith Chapel Baptist Church. The Rev. Herman Bell will officiate. Burial will be in the Williams Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Tate of the home; three children, Natasha Smith, Arrit Smith and Raheim Tate of Detroit; her parents, Issac James Frederick and Christine Frederick; five brothers, Leonza Frederick of New York, Vance Frederick and Willie Lee Frederick of Warsaw, Delmus Frederick of Goldsboro and Ronald Frederick of Detroit; and five sisters, Owida Frederick of Detroit, Melissa Frederick and Judy Ann Dixon of Warsaw, and Sabrina Jones and Jennifer Newkirk of Kenansville.
The viewing hours will be from 3 until 6 p.m. on Saturday at Garris Funeral Home in Mount Olive.
The family will receive friends at the home of Christine Frederick, 274 Revelle Road, Warsaw.
