DUNN -- M. Marie Jackson, 76, mother of Betty Carr of Dudley, died Monday at Rex Hospital after an extended illness.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Bethesda Friends Meeting. Rick Kelly and Ken Spivey will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Jackson is survived by her husband, Robert Jackson; three sons, Robert Lee of Dunn, Bruce of Godwin and Wayne of Lake Teresa; one sister, Berline Horne; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Skinner & Smith Funeral Home.
