MICHAEL CROW SR.
LA GRANGE -- Michael Allen Crow Sr., 50, of 117 Dana Drive, died Thursday at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.
A native of Wayne County, he was the son of the late Edwin Crow Sr. and Ruth Ellinwood Crow. Mr. Crow was an avid fisherman.
A memorial service will be held today at 2 p.m. at the Church On The Rock in Goldsboro.
He is survived by his daughters, April Brianna Crow of La Grange and Christy Martin of Goldsboro; his son, Michael Allen Crow II of La Grange; his sisters, Joy C. Howell and husband, Shane of Goldsboro and Frances May and husband, Charles of Knoxville, Tenn.; his brothers, E. Stuart Crow and wife, Nina of Waynesboro, Va., Vincent E. Crow and wife, Tracy of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Gene L. Crow, Sr. and wife, Judy of New Bern; two grandchildren, Clay Martin and Cody Martin and a special friend, Jo Ann Grant.
In lieu of flowers, a Michael Crow Memorial Fund is being established for his children. Please make checks payable to Church on the Rock, 133 Hill Loop Road, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
The family received friends Saturday evening from 7 until 9 at Seymour Funeral Home.
