CORNELIA GADDY
Cornelia Satterfield Gaddy, 87, died Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Formerly of Marshville and a native of Caswell County, she was the daughter of the late James Burton and Grace Winstead Satterfield. She was married to the late Judge William Gaddy Jr. and was a homemaker.
A graveside service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Marshville City Cemetery in Marshville with the Rev. Lindsey Green officiating.
Mrs. Gaddy is survived by her granddaughter, Alison Rouse Pleasants and husband Chris of Holly Springs; her grandson, Ray N. Rouse IV of Morrisville; her sister, Evelyn Lyon of Durham; and her great granddaughter, Elizabeth Chase Pleasants.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gail Gaddy Dail.
The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service on Sunday afternoon.
They request that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
Arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home, Goldsboro.
