ARMETTA BARNES
Armetta P. Barnes, 90, of Irvington, N.J., formerly of 719 Devereaux St., Goldsboro, died Saturday at Irvington General Hospital.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Delight United Holy Church in the Parkstown community. Bishop Leamon Dudley will officiate. Burial will be in Old Mill Cemetery.
Surviving are three sons, Bennie Barnes of Yardville, N.J., James Earl Barnes of Fayetteville and Johnnie Lee Barnes of Bowie, Md.; one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Barnes Jones of Irvington, N.J.; two sisters, Cassie Taylor of Dudley and Carrie Hamilton of Goldsboro; and seven grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 6 until 9 p.m. on Friday at Rhodes Funeral Home in Goldsboro and the family will be present from 7 until 8 p.m.
