ELOISE MERRITT
Julia Eloise Merritt, 87, of 104 Scotland Drive, died Sunday at her home.
Miss Merritt was born in Wayne County to the late Lafayette and Laura Rackley Merritt and was a retired sales associate with J.C. Penney Company. She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Harvin officiating. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Miss Merritt is survived by her brother, Linston Merritt of Goldsboro; her sister, Edna Small of Goldsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at her home.
