WILLIAM EXUM SR.
The funeral for William I. Exum Sr., 65, will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Woods Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Pastor R.L. Dawson will conduct the service. Burial will be in Old Mill Cemetery.
A native of LaGrange, Mr. Exum was residing at 51 E. Charleston Ave., Lawn Side, N.J. He died Sunday at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees.
He was formerly employed as the superintendent of public works in Cherry Hill, N.J.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel P. Newsome Exum; his mother, Ola Mae Exum of Goldsboro; three sons, William I. Exum Jr. of Goldsboro, Dell Exum of Berlin and Daren Exum of Richmond, Va.; three sisters, Evelyn Knight of Laurel, Md., Sylvia McEachin of Richmond, Va., and Cynthia Kelly of Goldsboro.; a brother, Eugene Exum of Philadelphia; and seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The viewing will be from noon until 1 p.m. on Saturday at Woods Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
Mitchell's Funeral Home in Greenville is serving the family.
