KANDIS BEAMAN
POOLER, Ga. -- Kandis Elizabeth Smith Beaman, 80 died Tuesday, February 8, 2005, at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
Mrs. Beaman was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, a devoted servant to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a devoted friend to all she came into contact with and was always giving of herself and never asking of anything in return. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, John Howard Beaman Jr. Mrs. Beaman was a member of the Grace Missionary Baptist Church and the Gideons Lady Auxillary.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 11, 2005 at Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Kinston with the Reverend Pete Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Estates in Grifton.
Mrs. Beaman is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Kandis Marie and Andy Smith of Columbia, Mo., Deborah Leigh and John Hinely of Pooler, Ga., Kyra Ann and Jerry Hudgins of Selma, N.C., and Mary Kay and Jeff Ryle of Guyton, Ga.; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the church from 10 until 11 a.m. prior to the service.
Remembrances may be made to the Hospice Care of donor's choice.
Garner Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
