WARSAW -- David Charles "Charlie" Miller, 87, of 500 Lake Shore Drive, died today at Duplin General Hospital.
The funeral was to be held today at 3 p.m. at Warsaw Baptist Church. Burial was to be in the Devotional Gardens.
Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Virginia Strickland Miller of the home; two stepdaughters, Joyce Lambert of Brodnax, Va., and Janie Malpass of Pink Hill; one stepson, John Strickland of Fayetteville; one half brother, Leon Miller of Warsaw; and a number of step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Warsaw Baptist Church, 209 E. College St., Warsaw, N.C. 28398.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
Community Funeral Home in Warsaw is serving the family.
