EDNA H. BROCK
MOUNT OLIVE -- Edna Holloman Brock, 85, of Brock-Whitman Lane in the Brock's Chapel community, died Thursday at SunBridge Care Center.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home . The committal service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday at Calypso Cemetery.
Mrs. Brock was a retired homemaker and was a member of the Stanford Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Ray Brock; her parents, Nathan and Ella Holloman; three brothers, Morris Holloman, Emmett Holloman, and Kermit Holloman; and three sisters, Mary Potts, Haddie Barwick, and Maxine Holloman.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Minnie Holloman of Mount Olive, and Milton "Blossom" Holloman of Faison, both of whom she raised.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service on Saturday night, and other times at the home of Milton and Lorrie Holloman, 477 Emmett Jackson Road, Faison.
