RAFFAELA KEREKES
Raffaela Lipari Kerekes, 88, of 408 S. Oleander Ave., died Friday at Sunbridge Nursing Home.
A native of Italy, she was the daughter of the late Mario and Vitina Piccione Lipari and was married to the late Andrew W. Kerekes. Mrs. Kerekes was a member of St. Mary Roman Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, with the Rev. Tom Norris O.S.F.S. presiding. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
She is survived by her son Richard Toms and wife, Carol of Goldsboro; her brother, Vincent Lipari of Tucson, Ariz.; her grandchildren, Louis Toms and wife, Darcie of Asheville, David Toms and Steven Toms and wife, Jennifer all of Goldsboro; her great grandchildren, Trenttyn Toms, Dakota Toms and Mattilyn Toms; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends this evening from 7 until 9 at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
