W.J. DAVIS
The funeral for W.J. Davis will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Augustus Chapel Church on Durham Lake Road, near Dudley. Pastor Brady Carmichael will officiate. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Edna Davis of the home; eight children, Urania Davis, Evan Davis, Carol Davis, Jean Artis, Brenda Swinson, Judy Thompson, Jimmy Thompson and Roy Thompson; five brothers, Donald Davis, Ronald Davis, Timothy Davis, Edward Davis and Offen Davis Jr.; two sisters, LaVerne White and Emma Davis; and 24 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be from 1 until 6 today at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries.
