ELMA S. RAYNOR
NEWTON GROVE -- Elma S. Raynor, 82, widow of Hosea Raynor, died Wednesday.
The funeral will be held tonight at 7 at Pleasant Union Christian Church. The Rev. Joe Wingfield will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Raynor is survived by two daughters, Iris Swinson of Dudley and Carolyn Waters of Clinton; three sons, Fay Raynor of Raleigh and Jerry Raynor and Felton Raynor of Newton Grove; one sister, Mary Bea Thompson of Grantham; one brother, Mack Strickland of Mount Olive; and 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall immediately following the service tonight, and other times at the home of Carolyn Waters, 112 Tomahawk Trail, Clinton.
