VIOLA KEEL
TARBORO -- Viola Cooke Keel, 95, died Wednesday.
The funeral will be held by the graveside on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Keel Family Cemetery, near Elm City. The Rev. Dianne Christianson will officiate.
Mrs. Keel was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Keel, and is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Elva K. and Milford Hines of Mount Olive, Joyce K. and Donald Edmundson of Wilson, Melba K. and Norman Rogers of Pinetops and Edna K. and Millard Lamm of Elm City; and 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday night from 7 until 9 at Carlisle Funeral Home and other times at the home of Millard and Edna Lamm, 5700 Farmers Court, Elm City.
