ELIZABETH OATES
MOUNT OLIVE -- The funeral for Elizabeth Henderson Oates, 87, of 2194 Thunderswamp Road, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Tabernacle of Prayer for all People. Apostle Lawrence Bogier will officiate. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Park.
Mrs. Oates died Saturday at Glen Care Nursing Center in Warsaw.
She is survived by two sons, Albert Lee Oates of Goldsboro and Thomas E. Oates of Staten Island, N.Y.; two daughters, Ethel Kornegay of Mount Olive and Maggie Godette of Dudley; two sisters, Velma McKinnie of Dudley and Carrie Lee Hill of Goldsboro; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 3 until 6 today at Garris Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
