EDWARD GRAY JR.
LAGRANGE -- Edward Farris Gray Jr., 70, of 2975 Jenny Lind Road, died Thursday, January 13, 2005, at Craven Regional Medical Center.
Junior was preceded in death by his father, Edward Farris Gray, and a sister, Margaret Gray. Junior was the owner and operator of Grayco Builders and was a member of White Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church. Junior had a great love of family, his friends and spending time at his home on Lake Gaston.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 16, 2005, at 2 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Stancil and Alan Ham officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Mr. Gray is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Annette Lancaster Gray; his mother, Bertie Owens Gray of Dover; four children, Danny Gray and wife, Kaye, of LaGrange, Lynn Gray Everett and husband, Roy, of New Bern, Donald Gray and wife, Judy, of LaGrange, Luanne Gray Scott and husband, Eddie, of Goldsboro; sister, Grace Dawson of LaGrange; ten grandchildren, Ashley Gray, Lindsey Gray, Stephanie Pelletier, Keely Gray, Les Gray and wife, Melissa, Jessica Harrison, Leigh Ann Everett, Taylor Scott, Farris Gray and Alanna Gray; two step-grandchildren, Suzanne Deaver and husband, Glenn, and Joy Brock and husband, Grady; two step-great-grandchildren, Austin Deaver and Mason Deaver; and his trusted canine companion, Rusty.
The family received friends Saturday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, and at other times at the home.
