ALBERTSON -- The funeral for Martha Elizabeth Davis, 89, will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at United American Free Will Tabernacle. Bishop J.E. Reddick will conduct the service. Burial will be in Davis Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Davis died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.
She is survived by two daughters, Sarah Fulton of St. Albany, N.Y., and Margie Hill of LaGrange; seven sons, Levi Hill of Hollis, N.Y., Alfonso Davis of Elizabeth City, N.J., Larry Davis of Kinston, Thurston Davis of Albertson, Walter Davis and Willie Davis of Las Vegas, and Len Davis of Seven Springs; one brother, Leo Whitfield of Kinston; and 19 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Viewing and visiting hours will be from 2 until 8 today at Swinson Funeral Home.
