CONSTANCE PERRY
RALEIGH -- Constance Crisp Perry, 84, died Thursday at Wake Medical Center.
A native of Swain County, she resided in Raleigh for the past 58 years. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church of Raleigh and a member of the Edith Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star of Cary, and former Worthy Matron of Capital Chapter #162.
She is survived by her sons, Lewis Duvall and his wife, Frances, of Zebulon, Roy Duvall and wife, Melba, of Canton; her daughters, Lakey Jones and husband, Carl, of Wake Forest, Millie Hudgins and husband, Gene, of Goldsboro; one step-son, Everett Perry and wife, Barbara, of Raleigh; two brothers, Gene F. Crisp and wife, Ida, of Athens, Tenn., James O. Crisp and wife, Bets, of Franklin, Va., and Bill Crisp of Swannanoa; her sisters, Jennie C. Hale and husband, Bill of New Bern, and Dorothy C. Ballard of Columbia, S.C.; nine grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maggie Woodard and William F. Crisp, her husband, Carl E. Perry, and three sisters, Gladys, Billie, and Lakey Crisp.
A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Wesminster Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Conway Langford will officiate. Interment will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends today from 5 until 7 p.m. at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forest Road.
