SULA COBB
Sula Cobb, 65, of Hwy. 403 West, Faison, died at her home on Christmas Eve.
She was born in Duplin County to the late Matthew and Lilia James Cobb. She was educated in Duplin County Public Schools and after graduating she moved to Boston, Mass., and worked for the Environmental Protective Agency for over 22 years.
She is survived by three sisters, Elizabeth Horne of the home, Louise Cobb and Emma Thompson both of Faison; two brothers, Charlie Cobb of Faison and Willie Cobb of Dudley; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory. Elder Bernard Thomas will officiate. Burial will follow at Cobb Cemetery in Faison.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday from 12 until 1 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory, 1500 Wayne Memorial Dr., Goldsboro.
The family will line up at 11:15 a.m. at 316 East Holly Street in Goldsboro for the funeral procession.
