RUBY LUTRELL
Ruby Britt Lutrell, 84, of 1348 Grantham School Road, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Eavion J. Britt and Luna B. Britt.
Mrs. Luttrell had worked as an accountant with automobile dealerships, was a member of Woodmen of the World and was a life-time member of Eureka Christian Church.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Eureka Christian Church with Rev. Frank Purvis officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
A loving mother, sister and aunt, she is survived by her son, John A. Emmi, his wife, and one granddaughter, of Mary Esther, Fla.; her sister, Virginia B. Hill of Mount Olive; and ten nieces and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Eleanor Lee Lutrell; sisters, Helen Best Register and Geraldine Britt; and brothers, George E. Britt, Wilson M. Britt, Roy J. Britt and Estle Britt.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 until 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other days after 11 a.m. at the residence.
