Kyata Darden, 24, died Sunday in Washington, D.C.
Among her survivors is her mother, Katie Shepard of Washington.
The funeral will be held Friday morning at 11 at St. Luke Free Will Baptist Church in LaGrange. Burial will be in LaGrange Cemetery.
The viewing will be held at the church one hour prior to the funeral.
Hamilton Funeral Chapel of Goldsboro is serving the family.
