JESSIE WARD
MOUNT OLIVE -- The funeral for Jessie Ward, 79, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at New Saints Delight Holy Church. Elder Quincey Gardner will officiate. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Park.
Mr. Ward died Thursday at Sunbridge Nursing Center.
He was the son of the late Ezekiel and Annie Ward.
His survivors include one son, Jimmy Ward of Dudley; one daughter, Mary W. Wooten of the home; three brothers, Vancie Ward of Mount Olive, Ezekiel Ward of Mount Olive and Fletcher Ward of Dudley; and nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 4 until 7 today at Garris Funeral Home. At other times the family will receive friends at the residence at 134 E. Hillsboro St., Mount Olive.
