GEORGE KORNEGAY
George Marlin Kornegay, 52, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Burial will be on Wednesday morning at Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery and a memorial service will follow at 11 at Black Jack Grove Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. Dennis Pollock will officiate and the family will receive friends afterward.
Mr. Kornegay is survived by one son, George Kornegay Jr. of Blacksburg, Va.; three brothers, Earl Kornegay of Warsaw, Marvin Kornegay of Mount Olive, and Albert Kornegay of Dudley; and one granddaughter.
Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home is serving the family.
