KEITH TYNDALL
Richard Keith Tyndall, 29, of 704 S. Best Street, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A native of Wayne County, he was the son of Bonita "Bonnie" Tyndall Cooley of Goldsboro and Richard G. "Dick" Pettengill of Garner. He was employed by the State of North Carolina as a correctional officer with Johnston Correctional Institution.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Pete Cerny officiating. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his girlfriend, Simone Lassiter of Goldsboro; his half siblings, Richard Pettengill II, Julie Pettengill and Angela Pettengill, all of Willow Spring; his uncle, Michael Tyndall of Raleigh; and his cousins, Krissy Tyndall and Carly Tyndall of Raleigh.
The family will receive friends at Seymour Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m., and at other times condolences will be received at 300 S. Spence Ave., Goldsboro.
