MARION PATE
Retired Master Sgt. Marion C. Pate, 75, of Columbus died Saturday at St. Francis Hospital.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Wetzel officiating. Burial, with military honors, will be in Parkhill Cemetery, under the direction of McMullen Funeral Home
Mr. Pate was born Oct. 14, 1919, in Wayne County to the late B. Frank and Flora Seymour Pate he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, Korea, and Vietnam and later retired from Civil Service at Ft. Benning.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eula Hazel Pate, is survived by one granddaughter, two nieces and one nephew.
