Leslie Parks Sr., 97, formerly of 150 Martin Road, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Goldsboro Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. James A. Moultrie will officiate. Burial will be in OId Mill Cemetery.
Mr. Parks is survived by two daughters, Joann Parks and Delores Parks of Goldsboro; two sons, John Parks of Goldsboro and the Rev. Willie Parks of Independence, Ky.; and seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The viewing will be from 3 until 9 p.m. today at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, and the family will be present to receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m.
