SAMANTHA FAISON
The funeral for Samantha Faison, 38, will be held Saturday morning at 11 at Christ Memorial Church. Bishop Steven Parrog will conduct the service. Burial will be at Carver Memorial Park in Mount Olive.
Mrs. Faison graduated from Snider High School in Jersey City, N.J., in 1984. She was a member of the House of Prayer and was married to Pastor Pernell Faison.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are three sons, D´Andre, Desmond and Christopher of the home; her parents, Carl Ellis Sr. and Jessie Ellis of New Jersey; seven sisters, Cynthia Dunbar of Pennsylvania, Jackie Blackwell, Greta McKinney, Carolyn Sanders and Sherita Brown of Jersey City, N.J., Jessica Ann Davis of Woodbridge, N.J., and Veronica Edwards of New Jersey; and four brothers, Carl Ellis Jr. of Durham, Kenny Ellis of New Jersey, Jody Ellis of Newark, N.J., and Stephen Ellis of Jersey City, N.J.
The viewing will be held on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. at Christ Memorial Church and the wake will follow at 10 a.m.
At other times the family will receive friends at 128 Daffodil Drive, Dudley.
