JAMES H. CAIN
James "Jim" Howard Cain, 63, of 821 Buck Swamp Road, died Thursday night.
A native of Cherokee County, Georgia, he was the son of the late Alfred Woodrow and Dymple Broome Cain. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church. He worked as a housekeeping assistant at Wayne County Courthouse.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Phillip Hunter officiating. Internment will be on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Cain is survived by his wife, Rebecca "Becky" House Cain; daughter, Donna Crider, and husband, Robbie, of Woodstock, Ga.; son, Daniel Cain, and wife, Jaime, of New Bern; grandchildren, Hanna and Daniel Ethan Cain and Zachary Crider; sister, Elaine Clark of Ballground, Ga.; and brothers, Robert Cain of Bailey, N. C., Ronnie Cain of Waleska, Ga., and Bill Cain of Ballground, Ga..
Flowers are welcome, or memorials may be made to Madison Avenue Baptist Church, 300 South Madison Avenue, Goldsboro, 27530; or to the American Diabetes Association, Memorials, Honor Program, P. O. Box 2680, North Canton, Ohio, 44720.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service on Saturday night, and at other times at the residence.
