VAN KANNAN
Timothy Van Kannan, 46, died Monday, Nov. 15, at his home in Hollywood, Calif.
He was born in Wayne County and was the son of the late Thomas Shelby Kannan Sr. and Helen Elizabeth Vann Kannan Talton.
A graveside service will be Friday, Dec. 3, at 11 a.m. at Willow Dale Cemetery, with Bill Garner officiating.
Mr. Kannan is survived by one daughter, Lindsey Gardner of Huntington Beach, Calif.; one brother, Jack E. Kannan, and his wife, Elizabeth, of Goldsboro; one sister, Phyllis K. Radford, and her husband, Edward, of Goldsboro; three nieces, Jacqueline Kannan, Carlin Kannan and Kimberley Radford, all of Goldsboro; one great-niece, Hanna L. McKeithan of Goldsboro; and his sister-in-law, Linda Kannan of Goldsboro.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Shelby Kannan Jr. and Albert Richard Kannan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn., 38105; or to the charity of the donor's choice.
The family will greet friends Friday following the service at the graveside. Friends are invited to share a meal and to fellowship with the family at New Hope Friends Meeting, Hwy. 70 East, following the service.
Arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
