Anice Hester Wallace, 79, of 1015 Eleventh St., died Sunday at her home.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at The First Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Jimmy Whitfield and the Rev. Bill Rose officiating. Private burial will be in Hester Family Cemetery.

A native of Wayne County, Mrs. Wallace was the daughter of the late Luby and Hettie Hayes Hester. She was a lecturer with Weight Watchers for 21 years and was a member of The First Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Samuel Clem Wallace; one sister, Bobbie Patterson of Dudley; nieces, Teresa Williams and husband, David, Cathy Edgerton and husband, Caperse, Debbie Hollowell and fiancé, Jr. Lawhorn, Joyce Craft, and husband Stuart, all of Goldsboro and Donna Collins of Rockingham; nephews, Bill Dauphinais and wife, Teressa, from Goldsboro, Luby Hester and wife Connie of Rockingham; nine great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Genieve Morrison, and a brother, Luby Don Hester.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and at other times at the residence.

Although flowers are welcome, memorial donations may be made to The First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1101 First Church Road, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
