JOHNNIE R. WALSTON
DUDLEY -- Johnnie Ray Walston, 36, of 842 Genoa Road, died Friday.
He was born in Pitt County to Phyllis Walston Stevens in Grantham and the late Robert Walston. He was a lineman for Lee Electrical Company.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Holder officiating. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, Christopher Ray Walston of Dudley; one daughter, Casey Lynn Walston of Dudley; his wife, Linda Pope Walston of Dudley; one brother, Robert Glenn Walston of Goldsboro; and his stepdad, Wilson Stevens of Grantham.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7 until 9 at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and other times at 1328 Emmaus Church Road, in Dudley, and at 241 Brock Road in the Grantham Community.
