MELISSA DAWN WHITLEY
Our little angel, Melissa Dawn Whitley, age 4, went to be with Jesus on Monday, November 15, 2004 at the Children's Hospital in Chapel Hill.
She was the daughter of Greg Whitley and Heather Taylor Whitley of Goldsboro.
Funeral services will be Wednes-day at 2 p.m. at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Jimmy Whitfield and the Rev. Bill Rose officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Ceme-tery.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandparents, Gary and Linda Taylor of Snow Hill; her paternal grandparents, Carolyn Whitley and James Whitley of Wilson; her great-grandparents, Bobby and Peggy Rhodes of Kenly; her aunts, Jennifer Tingen and husband, Jamie, of Snow Hill, Heather Post Bass and husband, Brandon, of Grantham and Sandra Peele and husband, Max, of Stantonsburg; her uncle, Chris Whitley and wife, Debbie, of Bailey; and her cousins, Jacob Tingen, Jesse Tingen, Rebecca Whitley, Brandon Epps, Jonathan Epps and Nicole Epps; and many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Hardy and Ruth Evans, Willie and Lilie Whitley, and Joel and Eloise Taylor.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made in Melissa's memory to the Children's Hospital at Chapel Hill.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Seymour Funeral Home.
