MATTHEW ARMWOOD
FAISON -- Matthew Armwood, 82, of 2583 N.C. Highway 403 W., died Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service will be held today at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Disciples of Christ in Keener. The Rev. Henry Rogers will officiate. Burial will follow in the Armwood Cemetery.
He is survived by five brothers, James Armwood, Edgar Armwood Sr., Charles Armwood, Thomas Armwood of Faison, and Cleo Armwood of Washington, D.C.; four sisters, Annie Oates, Evelyn Armwood of Faison, Luevancie Teachey of Goldsboro, and Annie E. Armwood of Chicago, Ill.
Garris Funeral Home is serving the family.
