ELTON PHILLIPS
KENLY -- Elton G. "Flip" Phillips, 68, of Beulahtown Road, died Saturday at Johnston Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Holly Springs Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Curtis Jones officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Phillips was a member of Kenly American Legion and the Wilson Chapter of the Moose Lodge.
He is survived by two sons, Neil and Stewart Phillips of Kenly; two brothers, Eugene and Tim Phillips of Raleigh; two sisters, Vashti Phillips of Four Oaks and Lou Sasser of Tarboro; and one grandchild and two step-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Coley Funeral Home.
