LONNIE KENDALL
Lonnie M. Kendall, 81, of 1208 Porter St., died Saturday at the Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville.
The funeral will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Dr. Kenneth Tate will officiate. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
Mr. Kendall was born in Richmond County to the late R.C. and Alda Cole Kendall. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired auto electrician.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie M. Kendall of the home; two sons, Leonard M. Kendall of Suffolk, Va., and Michael H. Kendall of Raleigh; a daughter, Dianna Gilmore of Stamford, Conn.; two brothers, Willie Kendall of Orlando, Fla., and Richard Kendall of New York, N.Y.; a sister, Margaret Robinson of Hamlet; and six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The viewing will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
