BETTY STAFFORD
Betty Johnson Stafford, 67, died Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Pollock and the Rev. Kevin Atkins officiating. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Ms. Stafford was born in South Carolina to the late Woodrow Johnson and Hilda Juanita Walker Johnson. She was a retired seamstress with Barry's of Goldsboro and was a member of Black Jack Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Keith Johnson and wife, Kathy of Goldsboro and Robert Stafford and wife, Felicia of Mount Olive; her daughter, Jerri Ann Barnett and husband, Randy of Dudley; her sister, Emma Ruth Ulmer of Goldsboro; her brothers, Wilson C. Johnson and wife, Elsa of Fayetteville, Jerry W. Johnson of Goldsboro and Clinton Johnson of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Kimberly Fortson, Michael Fortson, Stephen Johnson, Tiffany Ault, Joshua Barnett, Ethan Barnett, Nikki Lopes and Haley Stafford; her great-grandson, Joshua Payton Odum; and special friends, Pat and Henry Wolford of Mount Olive and Peggy Malpass of Dudley.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be given for her grandchildren in care of Jerri Ann Barnett, 587 Eagles Nest Road, Dudley, NC 28333.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 - 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter, 587 Eagles Nest Road, Dudley.
