SANDY RAPER and EMERSON BACHELOR
LUCAMA -- The funeral for Sandy Pearson Raper, 48, and her son, Emerson Ray Batchelor Jr., 27, both of 4859 St. Mary's Church Road, will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Coley Funeral Home in Kenly. Burial will be in Mason Cemetery.
They died last Friday.
Mrs. Raper is survived by a daughter, Jennifer A. Raper of Kenly; her mother, Doris Pearson of Lucama; three sisters, Lori Moore, Kathy Temple and Windy McCloud of Lucama; and two brothers, Danny Pearson and Jerry Pearson of Lucama.
In addition to his sister, grandmother, aunt's and uncles, Mr. Batchelor is survived by his father, Ray Batchelor Sr. of Elm City.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 until 9 on Wednesday night.
