GENE HOWELL
Henry Eugene "Gene" Howell, 70, formerly of the Grantham Community, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Burial will be in Selah Christian Church Cemetery.
Mr. Howell was the son of the late Jesse Henry and Lillie Surles Howell. He was a retiree of Belk's and was also a minister for 23 years.
The body will lie in state from 10 until 11 on Friday morning at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends immediately following the committal service.
