ANGENETTE KING
The funeral for Angenette "Angel" Carlton King, 41, of 910 S. Madison Ave., will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Hosea Manley will officiate. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. King died Thursday at her home.
She was a member of the American Dietetic Association, the National Honor Society of Phi Tau Sigma and Eta Omicron Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
Survivors include her husband, Clinton D. King; her parents, Perry and Daisy Carlton of Mount Olive; seven sisters, Brenda Whitfield of Philadelphia, Pa., Dorinda Britton of District Heights, Md., Cynthia G. Johnson, Daisy Bass and Benantroles Carlton of Greensboro, Freda Williams of Dudley and Pamela Love of Charlotte; and three brothers, Rev. Perry Carlton Jr. of Mount Olive, Presentino Carlton of Mount Olive and Gary Carlton of Dudley.
The family will receive friends tonight form 7 until 8 at Garris Funeral Home, and other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Carlton Sr., 113 Short St., Mount Olive.
