MARTHA JENKINS
ROANOKE RAPIDS -- Martha Jane Radford Jenkins, 85, died Sunday at Guardian Care.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Hockaday Funeral Home. The Rev. Margaret Horrell will officiate. Burial will be on Thurdsay afternoon at 3 in the Radford Cemetery in the Nahunta community.
Mrs. Jenkins was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church and was retired from J.P. Stevens after 50 years of service as a weaver and instructor.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda Jenkins Driver of Nahunta and Susan Jenkins Yandle of Roanoke Rapids; and seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 until 9 at Hockaday Funeral Home in Roanoke Rapids.
