SNOW HILL -- Ina Evelyn Tyson Sutton, 79, died Thursday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston.
The funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service. The Reverends Danny Hill and Ralph Hill will officiate. Burial will be in Snow Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Sutton was a native of Greene County, was the daughter of the late Oscar and Nan Sugg Tyson and was the widow of Bennie Carl Stutton. Prior to retirement, she worked with the Commission for the Blind in Snow Hill and Wilson. She was a member of the Hookerton United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Evelyn Rose Moore of Morehead City and Brenda S. Hill of Snow Hill; and 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Taylor-Tyson Funeral Home and other times at the residence at 613 Jim Grant Road, Snow Hill.
